Signature Talks

Topics I speak on

Each talk is tailored to your audience. Titles below are starting points, and every one can be scaled from a 20-minute keynote to a half-day workshop.

01

From Learning to Leading

The mentorship journey that turns a setback into a launchpad. Drawing on my own path from a failed set of A-levels to Chartered Scientist, this keynote gives audiences the E-R-A model, Engage, Relate, Activate, and the confidence to lead others up behind them.

Mentorship · Leadership
02

There Is No Ceiling

A message of resilience for anyone who has been told what they cannot become. Part story, part call to action, on breaking through the beliefs and barriers that keep talent boxed in, and building the self-belief to go further.

Resilience · Inspiration
03

Building a Mentorship Culture

For leaders and organisations: how to move mentorship from good intentions to a system that outlasts you, covering allyship, sponsorship, and the practices that make the next generation start higher.

Leadership · Culture
04

Diversity, Inclusion & the Future of STEM

Why the STEM pipeline still leaks talent, and what genuinely changes it. Grounded in real work across science, education, and advocacy, with practical steps for employers who want more than a statement.

STEM · DEI
05

AI, Equity & Responsible Innovation

The opportunity and the risk of AI, from someone working at the intersection of science and governance. How we democratise expertise without embedding the old inequities into new systems.

About Bamidele

The story behind the stage

At 17, Bamidele Farinre was told she didn't have the head for science. She had just failed her A-levels. What followed is the reason she speaks: a rise from medical lab assistant to Chartered Biomedical Scientist, certified Scrum Master, author, and founder of a global mentorship platform, carried at every stage by mentors who saw what a grade could not.

Today she is a multi-award-winning Chartered Scientist, educator, and global STEM advocate. She founded BAMS Space and BAMS No Ceiling to reach the people no corridor ever could, and she carries her message onto stages around the world: there is no ceiling on what anyone can learn, build, or become when someone believes in them and shows them the way.

She is the author of The Mentor's Journey: From Learning to Leading, a voice on diversity, inclusion, and responsible AI, and an advocate whose AI-equity work has reached into UK policy. On stage she is warm, direct, and impossible to tune out.
